LAPS, a Wildlife Protection Organization, shines as a beacon of hope amid a pressing crisis threatening Pakistan’s diverse wildlife. Established in 2023 by visionary wildlife conservationist Mr. Mian Nasir and esteemed Mr. Fahad Malik, the driving force behind Mission Awareness Foundation (MAF), this crisis extends beyond the animal kingdom, affecting violence, resource scarcity, and the specter of extinction. At this pivotal moment, LAPS has taken on the responsibility of safeguarding Pakistan’s irreplaceable natural heritage with unwavering commitment.
As a determined non-profit organization, LAPS firmly believes in effective solutions combined with unwavering honesty, all aimed at preserving wildlife. Our philosophy is rooted in animal rights and maintaining the delicate balance of nature. Our mission serves as a rallying cry to highlight the detrimental effects of human actions on wildlife and their habitats. With this understanding, we aim to unite individuals and communities to create a world that combines sustainability with compassion.
At our core, we wholeheartedly champion animal rights and dedicate ourselves to conservation initiatives. By partnering with like-minded individuals and organizations, we establish strong connections that amplify our collective impact. At LAPS, we are dedicated to finding effective solutions and taking genuine actions that bring about meaningful change. LAPS proudly stands as the guardian of Pakistan’s most imperiled species, fighting against the forces pushing them toward extinction. Our message is clear: Join us in creating a brighter future for Earth’s biodiversity. Together, we have the power to create a world that values all forms of life and ensures a thriving tomorrow for every living being on this planet. Begin this transformative journey with us today and be the change that our world desperately needs.
LAPS is working to promote understanding towards safeguard and conservation of wildlife together with provision of dedicated physical support/ assistance where possible, through its tentacles and volunteer individuals and in coordination with its sister organizations based in various villages, towns & cities of Pakistan.
It is the ongoing lack of understanding and overall societal neglect that a number of precious and rare species are diminishing from Pakistan; most probably becoming extinct from the planet earth as these are found in Pakistan only (for being area specific species). Such perpetual threat of existence to the iconic wildlife species in Pakistan has its far-reaching environmental consequences including the possibility of extinction of certain rare species.
LAPS was founded with the core goal of being a platform dedicated to raising awareness and ensuring the well-being of voiceless creatures, with a specific focus on wildlife conservation and protection, as well as addressing other environmental concerns. Our mission encompasses community outreach, education, animal welfare, including treatment, relocation, and comprehensive rescue operations for all species (mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish) across Pakistan, all in line with established policies. Additionally, we address critical environmental issues Pakistan faces. Currently, LAPS is focused on several key objectives:
LAPS stands as a frontrunner in wildlife conservation, developing and executing strategies for effective results. Our approach respects the balance between nature and human interaction. We collaborate with experts, researchers, and local communities, weaving efforts that transcend borders and embrace unity.
LAPS carefully cultivates a wildlife-friendly community by strategizing to amplify local awareness and understanding.
We raise voices for animal rights and support animal rights causes. We increase public awareness about the importance of animal rights.
LAPS tirelessly voices concerns about unfair government policies affecting wild animals. We protest against such policies, advocating for the rightful welfare and rights of these animals.
LAPS enthusiastically promotes indigenous plant species, supporting the mission of greening Pakistan.
LAPS tackles deforestation issues while fostering public awareness about cultivating indigenous tree species.
We address challenges posed by stray animals, focusing on comprehensive disease control, providing suitable shelters, medical treatment, and robust population management.
LAPS takes positive steps to address pollution concerns, spreading awareness and implementing effective control measures.
LAPS employs social media to halt animal smuggling and create a compassionate online community. We use social media to expose animal violence, transitioning from hashtags to hope to end cruelty.
LAPS collaborates with Wildlife Departments and NGOs to ensure lasting wildlife preservation and a brighter future for Pakistani wildlife.
LAPS delves into animal distress, analyzing suffering's nature and causes. We rescue, treat, and seamlessly release animals back into the wild.
